Description
Well painted in enamels, calligraphy added, sometimes termed a wig or hat stand, perhaps more often used as a deep brush pot. The painting particularly good, condition fine, it has an old museum passed export license seal in red waxÊ applied at central bottom. Most likely of the Ching Dynasty reign of Daoguang, 1821-1850, Nice condition. Size 11.5"H X 5"W -Due to a late but very appropriate arrival, we have selected out fine and some important Asian antiques and art from the property of a New England collector's heir, a good part of which was gotten from Skinner's Auction & other noted sources decades ago. These particular and also serious Asian items will be offered together in sequence and will be available to be examined at our gallery.-
