Description
Pair of wooden panels with natural wood frames and red painted wood backgrounds from the 19th century. The frames are carved with Shou symbols and each panel has a brass hanger. The panels are painted in gilt and inlaid with stones (including amethyst and jade), depicting landscape scenes. The scenes include animals, people, and buildings.
Dimensions are: 30 3/8 inches wide X 32 3/8 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: They are in good overall condition with a few missing pieces and some paint wear.
