Description

Antique hanging wall box, used for storing candles. Thick brass, embossed all over with a coat-of-arms up top - two lions holding a crowned shield, with a left-facing lion inside. A grouping of houses and a windmill up front. Floral and fruit ornamentation on top of the lid and sides. Hinged top lid. Dutch/Flemish in origin, circa mid 1800's.
