A grouping of two very rare and early Tygs, or Loving Cups - one with three handles, the other - with two. Tapered form bodies. Thick brass with attached handles, copper bottom on the three-handled one. Dovetail joining. British Hebrides/possibly Island of Man. 18th century. Measurements: Approx. Larger: 6.5" handle to handle, 5.25" high, 4.5" top diameter.Smaller: 5" handle to handle, 3+" top diameter, 3" high.
