Completely engraved large mother of pearl shell, very intricate. The carving into the shell is a marine motif of an array of fish, a manta ray, sea horse and marlin in a reef of corals. As you can see on the pictures, the shell is very versatile regarding what it looks like depending on light. The pictures with the orange hue have been taken with the sun shining from behind the shell. The shell really comes to life when placed in front of a window for example. The shell was engraved by Balinese craftsmen, who have mastered the art of carving. Comes with black metal stand.
