East Asia, China, Ming Dynasty, ca. 1368 to 1644 CE. Three ceramic roof tile sections: one round, with an abstract four-sided symbol that looks like the four winds; another ovoid, with a stork motif in relief on its surface; the third part of a zoomorphic face, with a well-preserved mouth, single eye, and nose, and some remaining blue pigment. Size of largest: 8.25" L x 5.75" W (21 cm x 14.6 cm)
