New World, USA, ca. 1908 CE. An elegant, 14K gold plated pocketwatch with engraved floral motifs on both sides of its case. The watch itself has a face with Arabic numerals, and a separate interior dial for seconds. Inscribed inside the back case with, "Murdie Wolf, From Father, 1908." Elgin began creating watches in 1864, at the end of the Civil War, and the company's watches represent a piece of American history. Size: 1.6" W x 2.25" H (4.1 cm x 5.7 cm)

Condition
Wear around the opening clasp and on the hinge. Glass for the face is lost. Watch is not currently functional but could be easily restored.
