Description
Authentic artifact from the Roman Empire. Circa 1st-3rd century AD. Bronze figure of the head of a Zebu Bull, with a lead or silver overlay, mostly pronounced on the neck. Originally acquired from Italy.
Measurements: Approx. 45 mm x 24 mm x 24 mm (1.75" x 1" x 1" inches).
This artifact comes from the private collection of a notable American professor of Anthropology and Archaeologist, who conducted extensive research in Central America, the Middle East, Britain and the US during the latter years of the 20th century. He is the author of various books, essays and publications on the topic of Archaeology and his academic research into various fields of study

Good overall. All original. Good patina on the face, looks somewhat over-cleaned on the neck
