Description

Large Modern Concrete/Mortar Artist Made Figural Head Sculpture

A very unique, one of a kind, artisan made concrete face, open head sculpture. The back of the head is open showing the welded frame which is attached to the thick steel plate base. The welded frame appears to be made to hold a wire form face which was then covered and molded of concrete/mortar. The piece is unsigned and we do not know who created it. A very unique, well made, carefully and skillfully rendered - possibly disturbing, but very eye catching modern form.

Does not appear to be signed anywhere. From a CT estate.
