Description
Group vintage sterling silver flatware including numerous serving pieces, all by various makers, 23 items total. 1st Group: 3 Dominick & Haff No. 10 pattern, Pat.-D.96, serving pieces consisting of solid soup ladle with gilt bowl (12 1/4"), solid pierced fish serving fork (8 1/4") and fish fork. Fish serving fork and large ladle also marked for J.S. MacDonald retailer. 2nd group: 1 Durgin Chrysanthemum pattern pastry server, gilt bowl, and J.S. MacDonald retailer mark, 9" L and 6 J.S. MacDonald, Baltimore, allover repousse pattern: pastry server (9 1/4"), dinner fork and 4 teaspoons. 3rd group: Whiting Mfg. Co. Louis XV pattern cheese scoop, gravy ladle and vegetable serving spoon (8 1/2"), all with gilt bowls. 4th group: 2 R. Wallace Co. items: 1 Lucerne pattern pastry server (10 1/8") and 1 Rose pattern sugar tongs (4 1/2"). 5th group: Alvin Mfg. Co. dessert server (10 1/4") and casserole spoon (pattern unidentified). 6th group: P.L.K. sterling or coin Medallion pattern oyster serving fork with gilt bowl, Clark & Biddle retailer's mark, 8" L; Hamilton & Diesinger large scoop with gilt bowl (7 1/4") pattern unidentified, and 1 pierced bon bon server, maker's mark worn. 7th group: 3 Sterling repousse with cartouche serving pieces with weighted handles including 1 cake server and 2-piece carving set, manufacturer unknown. 23 items total. 43.165 weighable oz troy. Condition
10 items without monograms. All in overall good condition with some surface wear due to age. Please note PLK Medallion oyster serving fork is either sterling or coin silver. Please note: 3 J.S. MacDonald, Baltimore, allover repousse pattern teaspoons not in photographs.
