Late 19th Century Porcelain & Gilt Mantel Clock. French works by Japy Freres, case signed with printed green anchor mark (possibly Vion & Baury of Paris), and retailer's marke for Wilhelm & Graef, New York. Louis XV style finished in cream with gold and having cast masks, ladies heads, 2 polychrome putti and gilt lions paw feet. With pendulum. 21.25" H, 12" W, 7.5" D. Provenance: From a prominent Private Collection, Atlanta, Georgia.
Condition
Case repaired left side with overpainting. Lower putti left thumb repaired.
