William Bilton traveled extensively to explore fishing locations and wrote about them more than once. For example, he was one of the pioneer English anglers that discovered the Namsen in the 1930s and in 1840 published “Two summers in Norway.â€

This volume is adored with an uncoloured aquatint frontispiece to each volume and a folding lithographic map of 'Cunnemara.'
Condition / Notes: This decorative antique set shows well bound in half leather with marbled end papers and page edges plus gilt spine lettering and adornment.

The books show some age/wear externally concentrated at the extremities, including some mild splitting of leather at the spine.
