Description
HUGE CHINESE MARKET QING DYNASTY CHARGER MARINE MOTIF, Circa 1780, 16.5" across with a most unusual marine life motif. The central medallion has a multitude of fish swimming in it and the outer border alternates a harbor scene and birds in a tree. This piece was made for the Chinese market as this was not an export style. Perfect condition and a bit of provenance attached to the back of the plate.
