Book Details: This handsomely bound antique volume features red marbled paper-covered boards and a red leather spine with gilt lettering and decoration, and top-edge gilt. This volume is the plate volume, containing nearly one-hundred chromolithograph plates on heavy stock, some folding, illustrated by J. B. Leveille. the title translates loosely as "Neurology or Description and Iconography of the Nervous System and Organs of the Senses of Man with Their Preparation".
Condition / Notes: This antique volume shows well, with some typical indications of age and wear, including shelfwear and rubbing. The hinges and spine are cracked, and have been repaired internally. The text block is sound and the detailed illustrations remain clear and crisp through mild age toning. This volume is ex-library, and bears institutional markings and attachments.
