KENNY DORHAM - TROMPETA TOCCATA LP (ORIGINAL STEREO BLUE NOTE BST 84181). Dorham said of his playing on this LP: ''..I got out of Bird's shadow, as important as Bird was for me. There's more and more I feel I can do, these days it strikes me that the sky's the limit.'' This can certainly be heard on this excellent example of the original US stereo pressing (BST 84181). The record is in VG+ condition showing a few rather light and minor surface markings that are at no point of a heavier nature. The sleeve (43 West 61st St) is in clean Ex condition with just a little foxing and some minor edgewear. Complete with original company inner.
