An antique, massive, over sized, and beautiful Pair of French Ormolu-Mounted Sevres Vases that were hand crafted from late 19th Century to the Early 20th Century. We do not believe that the pair is an exact match but was realized due to a special request of the original owner of the pieces. The vases are crafted out of Porcelain, Gilt Bronze, Gold paint done against a blue cobalt base body. The focus of the vase consists of a hand painted scene on both sides of the vase. On one side there is a romantic scene and on the other side there is a nice landscape scene that has been hand painted. If you notice, the scenes take on the same general format but are not exact replicas of the scene shown on the other side. The painting is signed by the artist on the bottom of the painted portion. The same artist completed the paintings. This piece is in all over Perfect Condition. Every single aspect of this piece is in absolutely perfect condition especially when considering the age of the piece. Each vase measures 40 inches high by 13 inches wide from handle to handle. The base measures 9 inches by 9 inches with a 7 inch diameter at the opening on the top of the crown.
