Pate Sur Pate 1880's Porcelain Plate possibly Sevres with indistinct initials in blue near edge (S-EY?) of a well painted Cherub in white paste on a dark turquoise ground helping himself to grapes painted in gold, edge in gold; now professionally mounted with clear brackets inside a shadow-box frame. Appears in good condition with light wear to gilding, not examined out of frame. Diameter of plate 8 7/8 inches (22.6 cm.). Size of frame 18 1/2 inches square (47 cm. square).
