Overmantle in the style of William Kent (English,1685–1748), 20th cent. Molded fiberglass, in the Palladian taste with closed pediment above a tabernacle frame with molded floral and fruit carvings with ram's heads in the style of Grinling Gibbons, framing an allegorical panel of "love conquers all," from the stories of Ovid and Virgil depicting cupid with his companions with a lion, the whole with egg and dart molding. Approx. w. 65", h. 68", d 5".

Cracks near the entablature and ram's heads.
