Description
A TREASURE FOR COLLECTORS!
FENTON-WEILL solid body
Made in England in 1961.
Weill was an electronic engineer who joined in the late 50's with the legendary BURNS to make guitars, this association did not work, he partnered with FENTON to make guitars in the early 60's. Futurist look, as well as amps and bass guitars ...
The export name of this model was HOHNER ZAMBESI (see the pickguard), but the guitar was made in UK.
Its typically English, very warm, Burns Mini Tri-Sonic pickups model
Body in Solid mahogany, table added (like a Les Paul) in flamed maple, neck in Mahogany.Neck is not screwed (So, very good sustain).
The bridge and vibrato are not original, but in the same spirit: Taipiece is a floatting
