A pair of French first standard silver and etched glass claret jugs
maker's mark illegible
circa 1900
height 13in (33cm); length over handle 6 1/4in (16cm)

Condition
Each with MInerva mark to foot, collar and lid. Each with largely illegible maker's mark. Possibly DH (Hector Détré). Very nicely executed. Some slight bending to thinner collar elements. General light marks, scratches, some minor spotting and rubbing. More spotting to foot of one. Gilding quite soft and pale. A few scattered small dings. Glass in good condition. No engraving.
