Description
A group of ancient bronze hair pins and a cosmetic spoon. Lot includes a Roman cosmetic or medicinal spoon, c. 1st - 4th Century AD, with pear-shaped bowl, and three Near Eastern bronze hairpins, c. 1000 - 600 BC, one with an open-work terminal decorated with incising and two others made from rolled sheet metal. Longest 5 in (12.7 cm). All with nice brown patination. Ex Kent, UK private collection.
