Description
This is the 1887 Ticknor & Company publication of Caroline C. Field's novel, "Two Gentlemen of Boston" (481 body pages, plus 24 page editorial promotion pages), in fair condition, with a green cloth cover that has wear to the edges, particularly the ends of the spine. The spine, on which the lettering and art are faded but clearly legible, is slanted. The binding isn't tight, but there are no loose or missing pages. There is the residue of an ink stamp on the front inside cover spread, and there is a penned name on the following spread. These are the only extraneous elements. The page edges are foxed, but there are no notable stains to the page faces, on which all the text is unfaded and legible. There are no page tears or creases.
