Description
Group of Four Items, 19th c., consisting of a brass carriage clock; a brass rim cut glass cache pot; a bronze finial paper weight; and a marquetry inlaid mahogany tambour top stationary box, Box- H.- 7 1/2 in., W.- 11 1/2 in., D.- 5 in. Provenance: The Estate of Sherwood & Audry Bailey, Pass Christian, Mississippi.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Clock in working order. Desk ornament shows signs of oxidation. Letter box has some minor surface scratches and chips throughout. Surface residue present along one side, would benefit from a cleaning. Interior of the box divided into seven different sections. A charming selection.
