Description

Early Northern Calfornia American Native Hupa Basket Food- Mush bowl.
With wear typical of an ethnically used basket. Mush would often be heated with hot stones, which left small discolorations in bottom of basket and spoon wear to the bottom. A classic food bowl with motif restricted to primary band as is tradition for food bowls. A beautiful, and traditional museum quality example. No splits or cracks but with hold small holes and wear to bottom and minor rim wear as pictured.
