Pair of American Rococo Revival Cast Iron Garden Benches
ca. 1850, this pattern initially designed for the courtyard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, then in the 1890s, utilized at the White House in the rose garden.

Condition
In overall very good condition.
No breaks or repairs observed.
Generally tight and sturdy. The back of one is somewhat loose at its upper bolt securing it to the
side/arm. Assembled using bolts and square nuts.
