Carton-Moulé doll, c., 1740, head and hull were shaped of Carton-Moulé , strongly modeled breasts, strongly rose cheeks, modelled nose, brown painted eyes, heart-shaped mouth, sweeping brows, beauty spot (Mouche) on the left cheek, original wig made of flax, very long immovable and bulging stuffed kid leather body, extremely long legs, long leather arms, with wood hands so-called Griffes, this kind of  hands were original only used in combination with Carton-Moulé dolls., old underwear, arms with some patched up places, some color is wear down in face, original painting, remark: the beauty spot at this place means: the gallant = a woman, who is open for an amorous escapade, a very early rarity, see also "The Collectors Encyclopedia of Dolls", Coleman Volume "II, page 220, 221

Carton-Moulé Puppe, ca, 1740, Kopf u. Rumpf aus Carton-Moulé geformt, stark modell. Busen, stark rosa Wangen, modellierte Nase, braune bemalte Augen, herzförmiger Mund, schwungvolle Brauenstriche, Schönheitsfleck (Mouche) auf der linken Wange, Orig.-Perücke aus Flachs, sehr langer unbewegl. u. prall gestopfter Ziegenleder-Körper, extrem lange Beine, lange Leder-Arme, mit Holz-Händen sog. Griffes, diese Art von Händen wurden ursprünglich nur in der Kombination mit Carton-Moulé-Puppen verw., alte Unterwäsche, einige Flickstellen an den Armen, einige Farbabriebsatellen im Gesicht, Orig.-Bemalung Anmerkung: Der Schönheitsfleck an dieser Stelle bedeutet, die Galante = eine Frau, die nichts gegen Liebesabenteuer hat, eine sehr frühe Rarität, siehe auch "The 'Collectors Encyclopedia of Dolls", Coleman Volume 'II, S. 220, 221
