Description
Qianlong period (c. 1736-1795), of typical dragonet design with carved and undercut chilong crawling towards a dragon-head terminal, the reverse with a knob carved as a flower head, the stone of an even white color with good translucence, with original catalog card from Nagatani, Inc.
This carving was illustrated on the cover of Hobbies: The Magazine for Collectors, January, 1966, where it is also described in an article by Lucile Farnsworth Reals on p. 32
