Japan, late 20th century CE. A delightful pair of folk art bobbleheads, made of brightly painted papier-mache, a cat and a smaller mouse. The white cat, with black details, wears a red and aqua sweater and has a curled tail over its back. The white mouse - whose facial expression I imagine looks a bit worried to be so close to this kitty - has one ear a little askew and a wide green stripe with blue and red details on either side of its body. Size of largest (cat): 5.5" L x 2.5" W x 4.5" H (14 cm x 6.4 cm x 11.4 cm)
