Beautifully penned English vellum deed dated 1609 during the reign of King James I being the conveyance of a dwelling in Andover in Southampton by Richard Venables, a Gentleman, to Nicholus Barnard, a Haberdasher. Signed with vellum seal tag containing a red wax pendant seal. Signed on verso as well. Fine, measures 12 x 8.5”.
