This GLORIOUS cotton indigo blue and white oak reel quilt is hand pieced and hand appliqued, with unusual sawtooth framing and a nice swag and bow border.
It measures a generous 84" X 86" and is in excellent, unused condition, with age spotting in places and no wear. There are a couple of very subtle places in the border with some slight color variation.
There is quilting around and within the piecework and applique and in oak leaf designs in the background, all at 7 stitches to the inch with faint pencil marks still visible in places. The back and treadle machine stitched binding are the same slightly off-white and the batting is thin.
