A Russian Enameled Silver Vase and Underplate
Mark of Mikail Grachev with an Imperial Warrant, St. Petersburg, Late 19th/Early 20th Century
the tapering beaker worked to show floral, foliate and ornithological decoration among the inset glass cabochons, raised on a similarly decorated underplate ending in ball feet.
marked with '84' standard on underside of vase and plate
47 ozt 14 dwts gross
Height 10 1/4 inches.

Property of a Private Collector, Lake Forest, Illinois
Dirt and tarnish to recesses. One jeweled element to body detached and not retained. Examination under UV light does not reveal evidence of repair or restoration to enamel. Additional images available upon request.
