4th-2nd millennium BC. A group of three polished axeheads in hornblende schist, flint and amphibolite comprising: one axe-hammer with large perforation; one axehead with slender profile and small perforation; one axehead with flat profile, un-polished. 1 kg total, 9-12cm (3 1/2 - 4 3/4"). Property of a UK gentleman; formerly in an old collection Stone Age axe collection formed in the 1980s. [3]
