Interesting lot of approx. 130 U.S. Navy press photographs from operations in the South Pacific during World War II. Images run the gamut including carrier operations, aerial views of fighter and bomber attacks, naval artillery attacks on shore targets and enemy vessels, sailors in action during combat and in routine duties, landing zones, etc. Many of the photos bear some marginal flaws, but only a tiny handful have any real substantial defects.
