Skull made in one single piece (holed and patched, damages) with medium high roped comb, upturned, pointed fall and shorter neck-part, turned and roped borders, (ear parts missing, the surface embossed in relief with scolls terminating in leaves, brass plume-holder.Provenance: Christie's sale London, June 1991
Caremolo Mondrone (1489 Milan - 1543 Mantua) worked for Federico II Gonzaga, Duke of Mantua.
Exhibition: "Czerny's - All'Italiana", Fortezza Firmafede, Sarzana (8-23 August 2009).
