Description
Modeled as the companion of the English folk hero. A Peggy Davies figurine produced in 1954. Depicted in brown friar's habit and wielding a short sword and small round shield. Friar Tuck is a common character in Robin Hood stories, which depict him as a jovial companion and one of Robin's Merry Men. The character of Tuck was common in the May Games of England and Scotland during the 15th century, appearing in the fragment of a Robin Hood play from 1475. Brown, orange, tan.
