Anglo-Indian Carved Tropical Hardwood Campaign Chair, 19th c., cabochon crest, spiral-turned uprights, padded back and seat, scrolled arms, incurvate legs, h. 36 1/2 in., w. 21 1/2 in., d. 32 1/4 in. Provenance: The Sturm Collection, St. Thomas and Trinidad Ill.: Sturm, Philip. West Indies Antique Furniture of the Lesser Antilles, 1740-1940. Antique Collectors' Club: Suffolk, 2011, p. 115. Condition: AS IS. Overall structurally sound; foldable parts are somewhat loose. Scattered wear to finish. Various small repairs, nicks, chips, abrasions, marks and other imperfections consistent with age and use IMPORTANT: All purchases must be removed from our premises within 10 days of the auction.
