Description

A WW1 era British Army bandsman's tunic for an unidentified regiment. Dark blue with dark red facings and silver lace. Made by the Uniform Clothing Equipment Co. Ltd. of Clerkenwell, London. Epaulettes retained by white metal buttons carrying the lyre emblem used for musicians. The rear of one arm open at the seam and some other cosmetic issues commensurate to the age. Roughly size 36.
