Bulova, Rare Original Chronograph C "Stars & Stripes," Stainless Steel, Automatic, Circa 1970 Case: 43 mm, stainless steel, two body (opens through bezel), brushed and polished, with notched bezel, hooded lugs, and round pushers, stamped "N0" (1970) on back, No. 617564 Dial: matte blue, with outer tachymeter scale, matte white minute track with luminous five-minute markers, luminous baton hour markers, and matte white seconds, 30-minute, and 12-hour registers; stainless baton hour/minute hands with luminous inserts and red arrowhead tips, and red sword register and chrono hands Movement: Valjoux caliber 7736 manual wind, 17 jewels, Swiss lever, with chronograph functions and yellow gold finish. Band: original stainless steel mesh bracelet, approximately 7 1/8 inches maximum length, including watch, stamped 10261 and signed Bulova on deployment clasp Signed: Bulova on dial, case, movement, and clasp Nicknamed Stars & Stripes for its red, white, and blue color configuration, the original Bulova Chronograph C was manufactured for only one year, in 1970.
