Description
WINNER OF THIS ITEM SHALL RECEIVE THE EXACT COIN SHOWN IN THE FIRST TWO PHOTOS! The third picture is just to show that this coin is from the Arthur Liss Type Set!
This coin is part of the Arthur Liss Type Set. This type set was assembled over decades prior to the turn of the century, starting in the 1970's. Remember, by order of the consignor, none of these type coins were to be graded. We are passing along the same grades on our description when Arthur purchased these coins throughout his numismatic career. He was known for having an excellent eye and fastidiousattention to detail. Please remember you only have one shot to bid and win this item, and I encourage you to go.. "ALL IN!"
A brief numismatic history lesson; PCGS reinvented the rare coin business in 1986 by beginning numerical grading like MS62 and MS63 ect. Before that it went from 60 was about as high as it got. Therefore, we had passed along the old pre 1986 Numismatic Grading with extrememly conservative in our view way too low grades for the most part. So please bid strong as these coins are Stunning!
