Condition
Five rare works bound in a vol. Beautiful Venetian edition of some of the most important works of St. Augustine, all dedicated to the problem of grace, predestination and human freedom. The reflection on free will is central to the theology of St. Augustine: if man were not free to act, as you might call good or bad its action? On the other, in Augustine the doctrine of grace is closely linked to the doctrine of predestination: it is God who establishes those who will be saved and who will be damned; He certainly does not lead to evil, but those who are deprived of his mercy cannot not sin. Knowing that everything depends on divine predestination does not, however futile human efforts: the individual, in fact, it is not certain of his salvation or his damnation. The Lot is offered with a valid export license.
