A RARE EARLY 20TH CENTURY ART DECO PERIOD GLASS AND KINGFISHER FEATHER DESK CLOCK BY CARTIER, NO. 1679, IN ORIGINAL BOX
the glass case of rectangular form with shaped corners, the mother of pearl dial with Roman numerals and centred by kingfisher feathers, with gilt hands, the single train timepiece movement winding from the back, the gilt back engraved '1679 Cartier / Paris, Londres, New York / 4123', together with the original gilt tooled red leather case with velvet and silk lining, the silk lining signed 'CARTIER' in gilt lettering,
the clock 6cm high x 10.5cm wide
