In late 1990 through 1991, American Express (through special arrangements with The Walt Disney Company and Circle Fine Art Galleries) offered a collection of enchanting works of art created from original cels in the Disney archives. Each serigraph portrays one or more of the famout Disney characters as they appeared in some of the Studio's best loved films. Each serigraph was issued in a strictly limited of 9500 and the entire edition was reserved exclusively for American Express Card members and animation art collectors served by Circle Fine Art Galleries. The original animation art for each serigraph was selected and authorized by the Walt Disney Studio and bears the official seal of the Walt Disney Studio, attesting to its limited edition status, with the name of the film from which the original art was created.
