Shiny paneled mother of pearl coin purse with very delicate design of two birds surrounded by a floral bower. Very sentimental and romantic.

The little purse is made from two panels of thinly cut mother of pearl. The front panel has an intricate and romantic etched design of two lovebirds in a floral bower. The line quality is very tiny and very perfect, and the quality is very professional. The mother of pearl is smooth and has a nice iridescence. It has a fabric liner inside with leather edges to hold the purse together. There is a metal rod hinge and a small silver bead for opening and closing. When pressed down, this opens the purse. To close, you snap the two sides together. The purse is very light weight, and it looks to be more for show than for actual usage.

2 ¼” (5.7 cm) wide x 2” (5.1 cm) tall. Expands to ¾” (1.9 cm). Weighs 1.4 oz (35 g)

CONDITION
The purse interior cloth is stained and has ragged edges. There is damage to the leather edge on the interior, as well. The mother of pearl on the outside is perfect, although there are natural flaws in the shell, such as little rough spots and discolorations.

A small work of art. It’s more like a piece of jewelry than a purse. It glistens in the light with a rainbow of colors just like a jewel.
