Art Nouveau French maid's bell hand made of brass and sea shell late 19th century. Similar to Elizabeth Burton's work in Santa Barbara. Since Burton grew up in Paris in the 1870s & 1880s, this type of decorative use of shells may be one of her first introductions to decorative shells. Unsigned. Excellent condition. 5.5"h x 3.5"d.
