Description
Both appear unused. Serial numbers are: 30610 and 30592 and numbers appear on butt, mid and tip sections. Both have "Orvis Impregnated" and "Rocky Mountain" on butt section. Housed in green felt lined leather and brass carrying case. Plate with monogram M.T.E. Jr. is removable. Also included: "The Chorus Girl", a mink fly on a gold plated hook, by Rucar Products, New London, Ohio.
Provenance: From the estate of Dr. Milton T. Edgerton (1921 - 2018.) A trailblazing plastic surgeon, Dr. Edgerton joined the University of Virginia to found the Department of Plastic Surgery in 1970. He has been called an unsung hero, and "one of America’s most daring and influential plastic surgeons."
