Albert Marionnet (France, 1852 - 1910) parcel gilt bronze figural inkwell depicting an eagle with outstretched wings perched upon a rock, with leaf embellishments to tray and tops of inkwells. Signed lower left of tray "A. Marionnet". 9 1/2" H x 14 3/4" W x 9 1/2" D. Late 19th/Early 20th century. (Additional high-resolution photos are available at www.caseantiques.com.)

Condition

Overall very good condition. Inserts for inkwells not present. Later bolt securing bird to lower base visible from underside.
