SEVEN CHINESE RUBBINGS ON RICE PAPER:
One vertical rubbing is in black ink on rice paper and there are six rubbings of horses in black ink on rice paper. The tall vertical has a black background with reversed calligraphy on upper right with artist marks. It shows a mountainous landscape over an extremely detailed scene of a village and a river. There are villagers by the river. The bottom features a detailed illustration of houses and trees. There are five riderless horses, two of which have arrows piercing them, one horse has a warrior standing next to him holding his reigns. All this horse prints have reversed calligraphy.

Provenance: Acquired from a warehouse in Philadelphia that sat abandoned for over 20 years. The previous owner is believed to be an artist and photographer based out of New York.
