Two Chinese Agate 'Ram' Vessels
the first of a bronze hu form, the globular body rising from a short straight foot to a broad waisted cylindrical neck, carved at shoulder with two rams' head, the second of a bronze yi form, the rounded body set over four hoof-form feet, the rim extending at one end to a ram's head form spout, the handle carved as a coiled dragon, each with fitted wood stands, the stone of warm beige tone with areas of russet mottling.
Height of lager 11 x width 16 centimeters.
