A life ring from onboard the R.M.S Mauretania. Red and white painted with black painted lettering reading "Mauretania - Liverpool" Retains original rope.

The Mauretania, otherwise known as the "Grand Old Lady of the Atlantic," was a transatlantic passenger liner made by Cunard in 1907. At the time this was the largest ship the world had ever witnessed, and eventually became the world's fastest ship as well. Popularity grew as so many people were impressed with not only the exterior, but the interior of the vessel, which featured 28 types of wood, marble, and plentiful tapestries.

Dimensions: 30" diameter
