Bring a grand and unique presence to your living space with this 1880s American Emerson Square Grand Piano with bench. Emerson was one of the most successful piano makers in the 1800s and were known for building high quality and expensive instruments. They used lavish and exotic woods paired with handsome cabinetry to compliment the superior musical instrument within. It is a large square shape with rounded corners and a light wood veneer throughout. It features stunning intricately carved details with an elegant book stand and harp shaped pedals underneath. It is constructed of wood with 4 heavily carved cabriole style legs with curving foliate designs repeated on each. It has a matching rectangular wood piano bench that fits perfectly underneath. Dimensions of piano: 77.5\"W x 38.5\"D x 38.5\"HDimensions of bench: 30\"W x 14\"D x 20\"H
Condition
There is significant wear and cracking to the back corners and damage to the book stand with breaks in the wood. There is a crack in the wood on the right front corner. There are a few chipped keys, it will need to be tuned and re-strung to be used. Overall, it is in good condition.
